it's high time u stopped investing on that piece of crap

firstly, accept the fact that u'r notebook is just a piece of crap & junk it asap
> a celeron m has l2 cache of 1 mb, fsb max 333 mhz, architecture - very poor
very very poor processor
compare this with todays intel core 2 duo t7200 & upward
> 2.0 ghz clock speed, 4 mb l2 cache, fsb 667 mhz, 2 cores in single die

so u see, adding ram is no solution,, your processor simply cannot process these tasks u r alloting

the celeron is only good enuf for office jobs, typing, spread-sheets ... no home entertainment please

> even the obsolete pentium m had 2 mb l2 cache & much superior architecture & processing power

>> 1 gb ram should be more than enuf for most jobs, save gaming & high end graphics !

if your maxed out with one gig then you cannot add more ram, you can only add as much ram as the motherboard will accept, you could upgrade your processor and you could upgrade you hdd, get a faster processor, or you can get a faster hdd, i have a raptor that spins 10000 rpm and makes a huge difference in performance

Do you actually use all that RAM anyway?

You'll need a new motherboard in order to add more RAM. You might as well get a new laptop.
