Computers & Internet - 1 September 2006

I have a ton of work that is due on this floppy, and only on the floppy. Tons of stuff. Anyway when I go to use it it says I need to format it. When I go to format it says I will lose everything. There is no way I can lose the info for the whole 2 weeks of work, and no way to start over!

Without having a the router connecting to a desktop computer. I don't have a desktop computer to hook up the wireless router to. I want to be able to access broadband internet and be able to access a printer wireless also.

I have just gotten into downloading my photos into my computer (IMAC) and I need to learn how to email them to other people. I have grappled with this for days now, and I cannot seem to do it. Exactly what process do you use to do this on an IMAC? I have IPhoto and have gotten all the photos to that spot, but cannot get past that point. Some mail icon keeps popping up whenever I try and send photos by emaiil, but it doesn't seem to work when I try and use it. I know this cannot be that difficult, but I am really having trouble here. Please help if you are able. Thanks!

I’m a Dell reseller. A few years back they seemed to be such a great company. In the past couple years, dealing with them is getting to be more of a hassle. They have had a lot of failure rates in motherboards, that seems to be resolved, for the moment. I’m also started to see Dell systems that are not more than 3 years old, that Dell does not have factory replacement boards for (I’m using all MSI boards now). Dealing with Dell reps has become a complete hassle, and tech support is even worse. Dell seems to still have the better deals compared to the rest but it’s getting to the point, I wonder is it’s really worth it. Now it's more less that they seem to be the least of the evils rather than such a great company, what do you think?

If >1 sites are open in Internet Explorer & I close any one of them, an error message appears asking me whether to send error report? If opt for NO, all pages get close on its own & I have to start all over again. I work at a law firm. My boss wanted me to re-type a 10-page document because he made a few errors in a few paragraphs.
