Hi - first of all, let me say that I actually work for an outsource company of BT Broadband. I also know exactly how you feel.
Just as a point here - it is simply down to all of the hassle I had last year (Nov 2005) that I actually ended up here working at the same job!

If you called me at the centre - I would ask you who actually installed the CD. It seems as simple as that. If you did it on your own...this will raise an issue that needs to be sorted.
Fortunately, for all BT customers in the UK - THD (Technical Helpdesk) which was transferred to Bangalore, India during March of this year, is in fact returning to NEWCASTLE!
Call us there in a few weeks....not sure how long but it will be the best thing for the greedy BT DIRECTORS if they want to keep their back-pockets filled!

I your problem is due to the BB VOICE/ TALK, go to the link below....configure your router here.

Seriously, you haven't given enough information about your intentions, I think, for others to provide advice--not that you should take any advice from the non-lawyers you'll find here anyway. A great deal of fiction is based on fact, inspired by actual incidents and people ("names changed to protect the innocent, " etc.). Sometimes that fiction is not flattering to those it portrays. It's done all the time. My lawyer friends tell me an important element is "intent" -- that is, do you intend to do harm to the individuals about whom you write. Can your work be characterized as malicious?
