i am logged on and trying to chat in the adult rooms of course but it keeps telling me the server is taking to long to connect do i want to wait or return to previous page

I'm running Yellow Dog Linux 3.0 on an old Powermac 8500. I would like to update the software using the "yup update" command in the terminal. It polls the RPM database, runs the dependency sanity check, the server signals ready -- but then it fails with the message "Error: 550 Cannot get file size." This is making me crazy. Anyone have any ideas?

it's a very silly question but i honestly dunno how to make a pdf file and what programs i can use to do one. is pdf file is the only file that adobe acrobat reader can read. what if i don't have any adobe software in my pc?

When people send them to me all i see are symbols and letters representing the emotion icon. When i click on the little face with shades i get a gray box. If i scroll i get words telling me what is their. Help i would like to see some smiley faces

I find it the most unnecessary and lamest thing ever. It shows that they live on people saying how hot or sexy they are in order to get through their day. Some people literally dress up and take pictures. Hello? There's other picture websites like "who's hot and who's not" kind of site. Go effin' join that to boost your self-esteem.

Okay, so my brother decided to go on my laptop, and download this 3 day trial from a premium movie site by the name of Popcorn.net. Well....that 3 day trial has been up for weeks now and they keep sending me FREAKING REMINDERS TO PAY TO CONTINUE A SERVICE I DON"T WANT! these reminders last about 5 minutes with a stupid little video, at the end, I click "close this reminder", *note* this is the only time I can close it, it interrupts and ovverides everything. So, could anyone please tell me a way to block these? I'm not too savvy of computers, I have tried to find a way in the site, and there is a way, but i need to buy the full subscription. Sorry if this is a little long, this thing is just pissing me off to no end....if anyone plays WoW, you know how much it would suck to be in a raid and have a 5 min reminder pop up!

There are two wires that come from the top of the monitor (inside) and go down into the additional memory area and they are taped together. What are they for?

Plus, my laptop won't boot up and the power LED flashes amber 8 times and then pauses, and starts flashing again.....does anyone know what this means?
