No. You're not suppoed to delete questions. The point is to leave them on here, so others can learn from them (if they use the search bar.)

Yahoo! wants you to leave all questions on here. They want to try to have the biggest database of questions and answers ever.

You can't delete resolved questions. You can delete open questions, but when they go into voting, or when you pick a best answer, you can not longer delete it. You WON'T get penalized by keeping the questions on here.

At the moment, Yahoo's policy is to keep the resolved question so that it's available for searching and browsing and the best answer can be shared.

But there was suggestion to allow user with certain level (eg. > 3) to remove some of those questions.

U can delete only those questions of urs which are in the open category. Once the question is resolved or put to vote it cannot be deleted. Please click the link given below and read FAQs of yahoo answers.
