I think my mom is just BS-ing me....but she told me that there is a way to tell when a DVD has been copied. That the disc gets a "ring" type thing on it. I dunno if you can see this or put in in something or what. I'm pretty sure there's no way to tell, but I wanna know for sure. And why she would make up such a lame lie. LOL thanks guys

My '98 HP Desktop was terriblly infected, rather than repair the old one, I went out and ordered a Dell desktop. Can I transfer the files via CDs or a memory stick without infecting my new computer. Side note- I have McAfee and Norton on the new PC

I use Norton's Anti-Virus and also the Spyware Doctor. Both scans come up clean but my computer locks up often and seems to be running all the time. By running i mean like its processing or something. Takes forever to download and it's driving me insane.
Any ideas?

Do the so called "internet eraser" programs actually erase anyting that you can't erase just by going to control pannel / internet options and erasing cookies and temporary internet files from there.
