Hi,

I'd like to use a web based helpdesk call logging/ticket system. I've looked at a few on sourceforge.net but they all lack the functionality I require which it seems is quite heavily sort after.

It needs to have the following :-

*Asset Database
*Call Logging with updates to customer via email
* Call history against asset
*Customer Portal :- Ability to log calls and seek ticket updates via web (This is most important), I don't want company A to be able to see company B's tickets

If need be I have a small budget for this project, so please feel free to suggest commercial alternatives.

I have both PHP and SQL server access.

If you need to know anything else, let me know!

Hi,
Anybody knows what the ± sign means on the box of the dvd writer ? It says: DVD±R / ± RW.
Also, on the writer itself is a label saying:
DVD writable / CD-RW Drive - does this mean only CD's are re-writable, and not DVD's ?

What are your views on myspace?
I think that it is actually a wonderful idea but is used for the wrong purposes. I also think that all of the younger girls on myspace who get raped by perverts are dumb@$$es. honestly, what are they thinking, putting themselves in danger like that just because they want to meet some "new friends".

I admit that I have a myspace and use it regularly. I am 15 years old but I never talk to people that I personally do not know. If some weirdo sends me messages or friend requests, i dont even read the stuff. And, no, I will not give you my myspace link.

I formated my wife's computer a couple of days ago and since then it's been acting really weird. It now takes about 30 -45 minutes for the computer to boot up and all the while there is a message saying "scaning e: for consistancy" ... then "cannot find boot sector in e:". I found this wierd because I only formated c:. Of course it doesn't help that my wife's computer is a Compaq but surely there has to be a way to fix this. Can any one help??

I've copied some text from the Internet & pasted it in my Microsoft Word.

Problem is, I only wanted the text & NOT the link associated with it. Rather than right clicking on each link & then "remove hyperlink" (which is rather time-consuming for a VERY LONG text document from the Internet, having many links), is there any way, I could possibly just paste the text WITH it's original formatting on the web (i.e. bold/italic, larger, smaller text. etc.) but NOT the hyperlink associated with the text itself ???
