I believe it's "Strikeout" in the Font area.

select the text you want to put the line through, then right click with your mouse, from the menu that appears, select "font". Another menu appears and somewhere in the middle you will see a lot of check boxes, select "strike through" and when you do this you will see an example of what the text will look like. Note: you can only do this in MS word and other MS applications

If you are using Word,
Select the text that you want to change.
On the Format menu, click Font, and then click the Font tab.
Select the Strikethrough or Double strikethrough check box.
Best Wishes and have fun but be careful.

on Microsoft Word, highlight the text, go to the "Format" button near the top of the screen, go to "Font...", then click in the box that says "Strikethrough".
Sorry, I only know how to do it using Microsoft but if you have Word you should be able to do it there and then copy and paste it somewhere else
Hope I could help!

You need to add more details before anyone can help you.
Are you talking about writing on a PC with Microsoft Word, and referring to documents you've seen where the text looks 'crossed-through'?
Is that it?

It's an attribute in the text settings called "strikethrough", simply select the text and apply the attribute.
