i have a LAN connection of about 8 pc, and all of them are using windows 2000 professional in arabic, but i want to download english version for windows 2000 professional for troubleshooting. Can u guide me?

I'm puting data from mysql database to an optionbox....

I'm using this code:

but my problem is that, if 2 (or more) similar data would exist, I dont want them to be shown. I want that any data to be shown only once in my optionbox, and there would not be 2 similar in my optionbox.

Help me please...

Why destroy your great front page, Yahoo? The new one just has too much info to search through easily.?

The new Yahoo! homepage is just ridiculous. Sorry to complain, but you're trying to pack so much into sub directories and sub-sub directories and sub-sub-sub directories and... etc. that it's like listening to the robot that answers the phone when you have an important question. Alas, even the great Yahoo! that once was has fallen victim to the "Impersonal Virus." Thanks Yahoo... I guess I'll be stuck with Google until they change, too. :(

Will turning my computer On/Off harm my computer?

I hear its better to leave the computer running "On" and just have the monitor "off" when not in use. If you keep rebooting On and Off daily that can damage your computer. This was information given to me many years ago. Is this still true or ever true?

I need help in winrer.?

I tried to use winrar to compress files but i got as a result (after compression) file with the same size, how can increase the compression rate?
I've used the maximum compression level but the problem is the same.
