My brother is customizing his truck and he already bought an eight inch touch screen in dash navi/radio/whatever else it does. The 13 Pin I/F jack input is for the navigation, but we were wondering if there was a cable that converts monitor output into the thirteen pin jack, so he could make his laptop available on the eight inch screen and make it touch screen compatible. Thanks

I'm thinking about getting DSL and i have some questions.

1.) Can you have audio by online webcam and have audio by phone without getting audio interference from either.

2.) Does having a better computer than another person actually decrease DSL speed. For ex: right now i juse have dial-up and the fact that i have a better computer than my nephew gets me a faster dial-up speed, does DSL work the same way, or does it remain constant despite the quality of the computer.

3.) On dial up, i have to free up space on my computer, but deleting cookies, history, defragmenting, and disk cleanup in order to make sure i get the most speed out of my computer. Does my computer have to have more space on it in order to get the best speed possible.

I know these maybe dumb questions to you, but i don't know anything about DSL. Where we are planning on moving, we are able to get DSL. I have already called Embarq(Sprint High Speed), and they say we can get DSL in that area.

I want to use the feature with my router that allows me to deny specific MAC Addresses. I'm in an apartment complex and there are a few people who connect to my router which causes me problems with signal drop outs. I cant secure it or make it so only the MAC Addresses that I list are allowed, because it doesnt let me use my wireless gaming adaptor with it, so I want to block specific MAD Addresses, If anyone know how I can find the MAC Address of the other machines connecting to me, that'd be great.

Thanks

I have hundreds of music files on an external hard drive. I copied most from cds I own and a few from a p2p website (back before arrests were being made). I have never had the external drive turned on while connected to the internet until recently. When I did nearly all my music files became locked (will not copy nor play), error message says license not found. It further says that I must re-rip the cds if my computer is where the cd was originally ripped. That's many hours of work! Is there a way to go back to before I connected to the internet with the external drive turned on? What caused this? It is not only giving me this problem while I'm on-line and it is not only Windows Media Player but Creative Play Center as well (that's the only 2 programs I have for playing music files). Help, please. Any gurus out there know the answer?

For the last months when i try to use my pc an error shows up saying "umountable_boot_volume" and windows has shut down. Im not really a pro so i have no clue what to do. on the bottom of the screen it says "stop:0x000000ED,(0x80E47C00, 0xc0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). im not sure if this error is caused by a malfunctioning drive because the pc has a double layer disc and the bottom 1 will not open.
