Its true. I have quite a few of them but I am not sure exactly how to do it. You need special software to run them.

You can put movies on a cd just like you can put music on a cd. however they will not play on a dvd player. what you are doing is putting the movie FILE onto the cd. therefore in order to run it you must put the cd into a computer and have the same software to run it that you used to play it in the first place.

Yes, my friend that is ture but the thing is that your movie should be in two or more parts for that, just go to nero and make a Video Cd and out the movie file not larger than 650 MB in it nad burn it it will be same like a Video Cd for computer and players.

yupu can all u need is nero 6 ultra or 7 ultra it lets u create video cds some dvd players are compatible some are not

either make the movie a low quality avi or put the movie across multiple cds as hi quality avi using a program such as Nero...but it will only play on your computer or VCD players.

Download DVDx from sourceforge.net
Rip your DVD using that.
Burn to CD.
It's best to use the divx codec as this makes smaller files.
If the file is already an AVI, MPG, or whatever, simply burn it to CD...
