Problem Description:
You are to write a property management database program that allows a real estate agent to view, add, search, and save property listings.

The program is to do the following:

1. On start-up, the program is to prompt the user for the property listings filename (the sample file provided is called properties.txt). The file contains the street address, suburb and price (in dollars) of each property listed by the agent. Once opened, the program is to read the address, suburb and price of each property from the file into an array of structures (structs).

A number of sample lines from this file appear below:

10 Napier St.
Palm Cove
350000
47 Darkien Cl.
Smithfield Heights
265000

2. Once you have read in all of the relevant details, the program is to display a menu and prompt the user for their selection, as follows:

Menu:
1 - List all properties
2 - Property search
3 - Add a property
4 - Save property list
5 - Exit

if my laptop was on the whole night and when i woke up in the morning several strange things happend;
1) my start button on my taskbar shifted 2 the right and i want it back to the left hand side
2) the waiting bar for uploading things isnt there so i dont know how much has downloaded.
3) the stand by option isnt there either when i want to shut my cpu down
how can i get all these back?

Seriously, who's the jackass who decided that . would be a better operator than +? I'm assuming this was inherited from perl. There has to be a reason they chose a cockamamie character like . instead of the logical choice (+). Anyone know what it was?

I just received an e-mail in my inbox addressed to somesone else. I know the person that sent the e-mail. They claimed to be forwarded the e-mail to me. However, it was sent to someone else, and my name is not on the long-list of people that the e-mail was forwarded to. Once, again, in my inbox is an e-mail addressed to another address. HELP. Give me a link to download the best and free packet sniffer... for LAN...

We can't get my daughter's email from my computer. How do we logon from mine? I can't get around my account in order for her to access her own. She needs access from my computer when she's at my house.

This is Dion Fox-Otti. I need to be able to access my account from my Dad's computer when I am at his house. Yet when I activate Yahoo, I can not get around his. The welcome is always "Welcome Jay, etc." We have searched for mine on Yahoo and Ask, plus Google from his terminal, but my email query always comes back "no results..." When I go to Dad's house, I am usually there for a couple of days. I need to get my email when I am there. Thanx much.

I'm looking at a friends computer right now (trying to fix it), because something is wrong with it. You power it on, nothing is displayed on the monitor. So I placed in a PCI video card, still nothing. The video card is fine. It's from my computer and I'm using it right now to use my computer.

So I took out the RAM, booted up the computer and it did not start making long beeping noises. So I thought the motherboard is bad.

I told him what I thought the problem was, and then told him how to order a new motherboard. It also came with new power supply.

After the new motherboard arrived, I placed it in the computer, along with the new power supply, and booted it up. Still, nothing was displayed on the screen. I took out the RAM and it started beeping at me. I knew the board must not be bad. So I place the RAM back in, and place the same PCI videocard back in the PC. Still nothing.

Could the CPU be bad, or have I over looked something here?

Hi, I have had the mention computer for sometime. Its been giving the problem of not turning on. I have remove the batt. For a couple of days and then it will turn on; but now its all but gone. Has anybody else have this proble and had a solution for it? I dont Really think it has to do with the cmos...does it?

HELP ME!

I have only had my NEW Dell Dimension 5100C for about a year or so and I love it. But today it went kah-put on me.

After getting my OLD dell computer up and running, disabling norton (per a tech support friend of mine's advice), and connecting both computers (old & new dells) to my super-old Microsoft router, I suddenly cannot power up my NEW dell!!! I press the power button and nothing happens at all.

And please don't be a wise guy/gal and ask if it is plugged in (DUH, it is)! I completely unhooked everything going into it except for the power cord & monitor cable.

How can I figure out why it won't power up? Will I lose my data? Did it get a virus from my old dell, which was acting strangely (explorer was crashing all of the time so I reinstalled my operating system, XP HOME).

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
