assuming you don't already have a prefferance for MAC and own a PC.

I would still not buy a mac sense it now has the Intel chip. Heres why a mac even though it can run windows is going to cost you a large amount more then a pc with the same computing power as the apple running windows.

I bought an ibook g4 14" last year and never looked back. I spend 0 time taking spy-ware off of my system as it can't get in and viruses are not a problem. I probably won't run windows on it though as I never really cared for windows in the first place.
