I just received an e-mail in my inbox addressed to somesone else. I know the person that sent the e-mail. They claimed to be forwarded the e-mail to me. However, it was sent to someone else, and my name is not on the long-list of people that the e-mail was forwarded to. Once, again, in my inbox is an e-mail addressed to another address. HELP. PLEASE!!!

Sorry, for the sentence structure. Typing, and thinking too hard takes a toll on me. If unclear, please, let me know, and I'll try again. Thanx

Maybe they put you in the BCC List. Which is "blind carbon copy" I think but don't quote me. But if they add you there then you will not see your name on the list. That just sends an email to you without letting others know that it was sent to you as well.

With enough information, yes. Outlook can be configured with the user's login and password and told to check the email every 5 minutes and leave a copy of the messages on the server. Then, a rule could be set up to automatically forward new messages to a different email account. The victim would still get emails, and suspect nothing while the other guy would be receiving his email without their knowledge.

Your friends could simply be using the blind carbon copy (bcc) function of many email programs. This is done to prevent a HUGE list of names and addresses from being shown to everyone. hth
