i live in a apartment so i have many homes close to my home , so plz advise if u ha ve any ideas , or some similar way to do so , could you also recomend a specific router if needed

If your computer has a router then, yes you can pick up another wireless signal. The brand of router doesn't really matter so much. However, your neighbor must have a wireless router connected to their modem in order for it to work. They can also put a password and lock you out their internet if they find out you are using it.

You need a router with a good signal (Belkin F5D8230-4 seems to be the choice).
Put some security and keys which only you and your neighbour know.

nope, cause the wireless router would have to be placed in their place and u would need an adapter to receive the connection and the username and password to open the account

if he is using a wireless router and your pc can detect his connection, all u need is the user id and password to get connected. good luck in getting the id and the password.

not sure about Canadian laws, but in the US it is illegal without permission of the person with the service, it is thect of service and here you can be fined for it, or jailed

if they have no security on their network (and you have no morals about stealing, or you have their permission) just fire up your wifi and log on. Usual logons are "admin" and "default"
