I brought my car into the dealership the day after the car stalled on the freeway (car pool lane) and I was given a quote for the repair that needed to be performed. I found a recall campaign from nhtsa.gov that stated the same symptoms my car had gone through under the same year, make, and model. Now the dealership AND the manufacturer are both not able to assist me regarding the recall and is looking to give me a financial assistance instead. Consumers are not supposed to pay for the recall to be performed. BUT my VIN is not part of the recall. Is there such documentation that states this? If your car's VIN is not part of the recall although it is the same year, make, model & symptoms - recall cannot be performed? Please help... I am going through so much with the dealership and the manufacturer but I'm not going anywhere since they are both not able to OKAY the recall to be performed. Today is the 9th day that my car is still with the dealership. PLEASE.. PLEASE.. PLEASE HELP!!

Does anyone have any information about the lemon law and exactly what one would have to do/go through in order to declare their car a lemon? I have a brand new 2006 Jetta GLI, and after about a month of owning it, it stopped...dead. I had to have it towed to Denver and they said it was just the ignition relay, but I don't think that should be happening with a brand new car.
Has anyone had experience with the "lemon law"?

Especially in southern California, very few people use their turn signals properly when changing lanes and preparing to turn. Why are people so rude when it is so easy to notify traffic of your intent to turn or change lanes? The turn signals are standard equipment on every motor vehicle and are to be used when applicable. If they were used, it would lower the number of accidents AND incidents of road rage.

OK..let it be said, first of all, I don't talk on my phone while I am driving. Does anyone out there think that it is almost as distracting to be engaged in animated conversation with someone who is actually in the car...why is a phone that much more dangerous?...don't get me started on how bloody distracting kids in the car are.

Today, 6/27/06, in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas area, there were 5 reported 18 wheelers in accidents and one death. All were speeding. One went almost off a bridge, one was turned over in making a turn (USP Truck) another one or two had the same problem and one lost control by speeding and lost his life.

I think if state law is going to require for us to have them in our cars and vehicles, it should be the same for the school busses our kids ride in everyday.
(And by the way, I think it's a good law to require them, no question about that.)

Okay i live in California and today i was driving thru a small 4 way intersection and i didnt see a red light so i quickly braked and my front wheel of my car ended up on the second line of a cross walk and there was traffic even on the opposite side of my car thru the crosswalk intersection. Then i notice a camera on the center of the red light (the long camera kind i think) and so i backed up back into the first line of the crosswalk and the light changes green. So do you think i will get a fine or do you think it is considered as a quick stop? Give me your opinion! Thanks!

Ok if You answer this one correctly:
1. Your not blind and are actually looking for.
2. Your over the age of 16.
3. Your not out there just to **** off the rest of the drivers out there trying to make a living.
(I am a OTR driver now for 9 yrs and some ppl out there are rude and inconciderate)
This blinding also goes with the Fog Lights that ppl use just because they have them and WOW know how to hit a button and not turn them off.
