Bio-diesel refers to any type of additive to diesel that is not a fossil fuel. Some biodiesel is made from vegetable oil, corn oil, or other sources. Many feel that this is one way to cut down on petroleum consumption, as well as better for the environment (less air pollution). The scientists have not yet come to any conclusions yet about which kind is better.

Also known as "bio-willie" due to the fact that Willie Nelson promotes it. If you don't know who Willie Nelson is then you are too stupid to drive anyway. It is auto fuel derived and manufactured from corn products. I am not sure where it is made or how but I know you can purchase it in east Texas at some major truck stops. It burns cleaner than regular fuel and lessens our dependance on oil from foriegn countries like Iraq. All Americans should look into it, just think if we could manufacture all our own fuel, we would have no need for the middle east.

Bio-diesel is the end result of taking vegetable oil (used or not), adding methanol, and separating out the glycerin with lye. It will run in any diesel engine with little or, in the case of newer cars, no modification. The site below has much more info.

Used deep fryer cooking oil. Most diesels will run on it as-is. Only trouble is, you drive down the road smelling like a bag of stale french fries.

I think it's made out of corn or something. It's sold at Carls Corner on I35. Willie Nelson uses it in his buses and trucks.
