My ex-husband recently purchased a CJ-7 (jeep
), our children are still in car seats. Should I tell him I don't want the kids riding in his jeep? He removes the roof and there are my 3 and 5 year olds "open" to the breeze!! I picture an accident and my kids injured badly!! What should I do???

Tuesday night/Wednesday morning I was driving home on a 2 lane road when I came upon an intersection, I had a green light and proceeded down the road. As I was coming through the intersection, I see another car going over 70 MPH from the other direction and saw that she was not going to stop at her red light. I slammed on the brakes, but we still hit and my car is totalled. I am okay - just some minor scrapes from the air bag.

I have been in 2 wrecks before (where I was driving) and a couple of arguable worse ones but this is the first one that wasn't my fault. What scares me is that I was just driving down the road and out of no where - I get into a huge wreck. The others didn't scare me as bad since they were my fault and I knew I could have prevented them. It scares me that I can just be driving down the road not doing anything wrong and this happened. Like I said, I've been in worse but this one has really shaken me up.

Any advice on how to get over this?

Not just for the safety of the deer, but for the safety of people and automobiles.

Do you think your politicians should be doing more about the state of your state's roads? ;)
In Brisbane we do generally [although the sewerage mains are getting replaced in my area now 'cos they're so OLD], but in Qld overall, it's not so crash hot.

If there's a car-crash and a big loading drunk truck driver runs throught a stop light and hits a small car with 3 people inside....If the car got so much pressure and the truck smashed the drivers side, ending up in crashing the passenger side and the back too...If that happened and the police say that the 3 people died on the spot and the officers said they knew that the second they got there...Would they go to a hospital or what? like what would happend

It's irritating and it's dangerous as it results in other drivers being caught in a 'bottleneck' or having to take dangerous evasive action. So I'd like to hear from the perpetrator as to why they do it.

I love Smart car's cute look and fuel efficiency. But is it safe enough to drive among big SUVs and trucks? The collision test was done with a regular passenger car. What if Smart gets hit by a SUV or a truck? Is the windshield strong enough against impact from a taller vehicle? Is Smart easy to roll over?

Over the years there has been several deaths to small children up to 12 years of age from exploding airbags. Has this problem been solved, just ignored, or what?
