Is it legal to have license plates in the rear window of your cAR?

2006-07-11 09:33:02 · 3 answers · asked by Pooks 6

Intuinively, even if the car is repaired, the structural integrity of the occupant compartment or the energy absorption of the crumple zones may not be as good as new. Has anyone crash tested previously-crashed cars to compare vs same model new? Or are there statistics on this, such as driver deaths of previously crashed vs similar new vehicles?

Obviously, we're talking here about cars whose previous crashes were not severe enough to total them but were more severe than damage to a fully replaceable, peripheral part, like a bumper or side mirror. I assume there are crashes that fall into this middle-ground (e.g., partially crumpling crumple zones, possibly slightly deforming unibody frame but not enough to total the car).

Or do airbags that have been reset after deployment malfunction more than factory-packed, new airbags?

What is the best way to prevent your license plates from being stolen (or at least slow down the removal process); Thanks for any help.

The neighbors of where the car was parked said the police came but note/accident report was not left on car. The car is damaged but not severly however it needs body work done.

Why is it that tow trucks get to the scene of an accident before emergency vehicles.

Sorry, maybe I'm just a little pissed, right outside my window here at work there was just a car accident, I heard the bangs. The woman in one car is hurt and the ambulance was called right away. So far the ambulance and police are not here, but 4 tow trucks have shown up. Personally I think that's ridiculous, I hope she's going to be okay.

I think that when the stop lights are out, the first person there has the right of way, and if two people arrive at the same time, the person on the left yields to the person on the right. I've read it on the internet on a few sites. But my mom says that the person on the right yields to the person on the left, and the state driving laws for az are different than other states. are there any sites that will prove who is right? i cant find any!

Like any red blooded male, I like nothing better than twelve beers and a bottle of refeshing whisky on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and not only that I also enjoy a spot of driving. I regualrly drink and drive and have been doing so for many years now, I've never crashed my car, I've never killed anyone, infact I have never caused any harm what so ever while pissed up and driving.

So what's the problem? As I've l have aready said; I've never caused any harm while driving while drunk and I've driven home in some messes, believe me!

If so, please pass on your knowledge to others as a friendly PSA.
BTW-I get so frusterated with people who blatently ignore a yield sign and just do what they want that it makes me wonder if they skipped that page in the driver's ed book.

The crack goes like a Y all the way across and down the front windshield of my car. I do not want to fix it this month because my funds are low. Is this against the law or dangerous? I am trying to be cautious by staying off the freeway.

jets crashing? I have had many dreams like this where commercial planes crash into fields or abanded sheds.
One was so grapic I could see someones watch with melted flesh all over it after it crashed.
The second dream I could see the flesh of peoples faces melting as they tried to escape it, it crashed into the water.
They have been extremly grapic that I wake up from them.
