well, find out where it's leaking from. Is it leaking from the tank, or the fuel lines, or the fuel pump. Dont take this lightly as it takes only one stupid spark to send yoru engine compartment up in flames. If you decide it's the fuel tank I suggest you take it out and have it surviced or jsut buy a new one. Same for the fuel lines.

You have not said where it is leaking gas...because there are so many different places, I would suggest that you find out exactly where it is leaking then ask your question again. should it be in the fuel tank area, DO NOT USE AN OPEN FLAME OR A FLASH LIGHT THAT IS NOT VAPOR PROOF OR YOU MAY GO POOF!

In most cases take it to a repair faclity and have them look at it. You may need to tow it there because gas on a hot exhaust isn't good.

Aside from fixing it?.....check other things like tires/brakes/oil/transmission fluid/plugs/wires while your at it.
As Morton said....when it rains ....it pours.....

As with any vehicle;they have wear and tear.A pretty good inspection and testing, pulling on tires when jacked up for example, could give you fair warning that repairs are needed.Check for looseness, cracks, tears, dents(in metal lines),frayed/exposed wire, loose bolts/wingnuts/nuts, and general wear.
Check the battery while your at it...as if there is not enough.

Stay away from anything flammable, go to a repair shop and have them look at it, if you go to a dealership, unless it is new, this repair will cost you an arm and leg.
