The neighbors of where the car was parked said the police came but note/accident report was not left on car. The car is damaged but not severly however it needs body work done.

No witnesses or police report is needed to put in a claim for your insurance. So you will need to call your insurance to set up your claim. They call it an act of God when a car falls on a car generally, so it is not your fault. Just tell them the honest details and a Claim Rep. will come out and take pictures and process the claim for you. They may even pay for the tree removal, although that may have to go through the Home Owners of the people that own the tree. Your insurance company will be able to tell you this for sure.

First you should take pictures...then call the cops back to file an official report. Some insurance companies wont fulfill a claim if there is no police report.

this happened to my dad, but insurance wouldn't cover it bc it was considered an act of God. Good Luck
