I was thinking there's got to be thousands and thousands of acres inside of traffic clover leaves that is unused land. How could it be used productively??

I am in the process of looking for a car and finally found a nice one in my price range but it has 182,908 miles. The dealer said that the milage was "tow miles" from being towed behind a motorcoach. Is this true?

the NYC subway system sucks. why can't a private company run it and actually turn a profit instead of giving me crappy service and then saying they are going to have to raise the fare and beg for state funding because they are $4 billion in the red each year? and that is just nyc, almost every city has terrible public transportation. i used to live in pittsburgh and they have PAT, port-authority transit. it is terrible. old busses, long routes, too expensive, and they never make any money so they get bailed out by the state gov't each year. why do we allow the gov't to run our transportation? our water companies are private, along with telephone, electric, gas, etc..yet apparently private companies couldn't run a better subway system?

does anyone know if by chance there is a steering knuckle that will interchange with that of a 1999 cougar?? (the knuckle would have to come from a car that they make a suspension kit for) or a nice aftermarket suspension kit from another type of car that will fit a 99-02cougar?? i am looking into installing a full coilover kit, such as tien, and they don't make a full kit for my car. i know that ground control makes a coilover sleeve for stock struts, or koni struts, but i want the full suspension kit. so far i am in no luck, please help. oh yeah, i know these cougars are chick cars, you don't have to tell me *sniffle* that's all i got!!

My Mazda 6 currently displays fuel economy as litres per 100 miles (l/100mi). Whilst I can manually convert this into MPG, is there a way to adjust the display on the car to automatically show MPG rather than l/100mi?

The default setting when I got the car (from new) was l/100mi and it's pretty useless as all economy figures these days are calculated in MPG.

Any ideas please?

I've wondered why many school busses that I see, have chains that almost touch the road that extend from the middle region of the bus.

Hi, last sunday i was driving along the a49.

However half way home a car pulled out in front of me from a driveway.

At this time the roads were flooded and it was still raining quite heavily. I slowed right down but still managed to smash into the front of the car in front.

I did pull into the hedge but managed to damage my drivers side and his passangers side.

The point is: the guy was polish, had no insurance, no licence (sorry abour spelling) and the car was not his. I managed to get all his details eventually.

Should i report this accident to the police? the first thing the guy said to me was that he did not want police involved.

What should i do?

The accident wrote off my car 2000 peugeout 106 xn zest and damaged the over car 1992 mazda 636.

Any help appreciated
