My Mazda 6 currently displays fuel economy as litres per 100 miles (l/100mi). Whilst I can manually convert this into MPG, is there a way to adjust the display on the car to automatically show MPG rather than l/100mi?

The default setting when I got the car (from new) was l/100mi and it's pretty useless as all economy figures these days are calculated in MPG.

Any ideas please?

I have already checked the owners manual and there is absolutely NO REFERENCE to changing the display from l/100mi to MPG.

Anyone?

I've booked the car in at the dealers who think there is a way to adjust the setting. (Evidently, it's not accessible by the customer and can only be performed by a Mazda technician.) Bizarre!

Thanks for your suggestions anyway.

Look in the owners manual, it will tell you how to change it over. There will be a button that you push that will change it back and forth. Evidently you must have hit the button without meaning to and it is still on the metric system. Easy to do. good luck.

Check your Owners Manual first otherwise double the metric reading to get approxamate MPG.
