Do you think the government is paying auto makers to exclude this feature to align with the anti-smoking wave that is sweeping the nation in the name of liberal societal responsibility?

I got slapped with a ticket for £60, whilst visiting my GP, on patients car park, but not being in a designated space (car park full). I don't know whether I dreamt it or not, but, I think I heard on some TV programme, that if the ticket has incorrect details on it, about your car, ie - stating it as silver when its obviously blue. Does this invalidate the fine?

If overdrive is for towing and carrying large loads then why does it make the shift point lower? It should make the shift point higher so it can tow things better right? I don't understand how lowering the shift point is going to be better for towing things if its always in a higher than usual gear. Somebody please explain. BTW 2001 Dodge Ram v6

I will be driving pretty soon when I get my car, well truck. I want it to be a pickup so I can put my bike in the back, but Id like a 2-door cab with those small little back seats that 2 other people can fit in...are those extended cabs? Well my school is 22 miles away, and that adds up. I dont want to be playing so much in gas bills. What make/model do you reccomend? Toyota Tacoma perhaps?

This goes back to the 1970s, on the BBC magazine programme "Nationwide" they featured a chap who built a jet car in his garden shed, they followed his trials and tribulations finally, his record attempt at Pendinne sands in south wales.

Sadly he failed, but what ever happened to him and his car, I do wish he did not give up.
