Check your manual.

The cruise option simply means that your car came equipped with cruise control. This is benefecial mainly on long trips, where you'll be going the same speed for an extended period of time.

Cruise control allows you to take your foot off of the gas pedal, and keeps the car going at a predetermined speed.

Usually, you turn it on, get up to speed, and hit a "set" switch somewhere on your dash or turn signal wand. Then your car will stay at that speed until you turn it off or hit the brakes.

Hope helps!

I m not familiar with that model year but..
1.if your asking about cruise control then its to fight fatigue and to keep a steadier speed than most people can for better gas mileage.

2. its an extra gear given for highway driving to extend and save wear on the transmission.

Benifit, It will allow you to have a more predictable Fuel mileage. it holds the car at a more constant speed then you can with your foot. your speed varies alot when your driving with your foot. the cruise control allows you to maintain the see with out thinking about it. It's great when you have the long drive.
