LOL! I noticed the same thing. And you replace it, it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. You replace it , it burns out again. Then you sell your truck. But, you bough another Chevy truck with daytime running lights. And after about 2 months, one light burns out.

So you replace it, and it burns out again.

Then you buy a bulk box of those little light bulbs on eBay to keep in your garage, because now the guy at Napa knows you by name and has a light bulb already at the counter when he sees you pull in. And you have to ask everyone else you meet if they have this problem. And they say, "Yeah, actually I do...the bulb burns out and I have to replace it, and it just burns out again. I replace it, and it burns out again. I replace it, and it burns out again. I replace it, and it burns out again. I replace it, and it burns out again. I replace it, and it burns out again. I replace it, and it burns out again.

all cars and trucks always have a minor thing that always going wrong, for some reason the driving light or running light burns out every couple duzzon thousond miles. you lucky its just a driving light not something like a transmission or a power stering pump like a lot of cars do.

It's probably a built in flaw, because you need about two different wrenches and four different screw drivers to change the bulbs (I know I had one) so you have to take it back to the dealer so that they can do the job and charge you an astronomical hourly rate for five minutes work.

Maybe it's a design flaw. Check with the dealership if there are any recalls on it.
