My wife wants to drive her MoT failure car, obviously she has no insurance either. And it's road tax has expired. She is a learner and wants me to teach her in it.

I said NOOOOO

But out of interest what would happen to me and to her if she was caught?

I'm taking my driving test next week and I've had people tell me what it will be like. They said the instructor asks you to park and show what you would do if parking uphill by a curb. I know you have to put the parking brake on and everything, but what do you do by a curb? Is there a certain direction you have to turn the wheel?

I recently purchased a chevy silverado 1500HD, witch has the 6.0 litre engine in it. I needed a 1/2 ton truck, but with the engine it has in it, gas milage sucks. I would like to know if it is possible to trade the truck in to a dealership and get a 1500 with a smaller engine. I am in the beginning part of paying the payments. Could I sell the truck and have the buyer take over the payments.

Hi, I am trying to flush out details on a web page:

http://www.ddgnevada.com/family/pop/Old%20Family.html

and was wondering if anyone could identify the vehicles on this page. One pic is six or so down from the top and the other is three
or so up from the bottom.

Thanks, Dan

I love muscle cars especially old Mopars like Super Bees and Road Runners. For the money $25,000 I could get a nicely kept one and then buy a (junker) cheap car to drive day to day OR I could spend the money on a new (if bland, but more reliable) car. My concern is would I have to keep dumping money into the Muscle to keep it running? will a Mopar I get for that price be a Piece? I still will need some sort of daily driver either way. What would you guys do and why?

This product does NOT exsist, it is simply a hypothetical product.

This product is a revolutionary car windshield, designed to let you see as clear as day, even at night. It would literally look as if it was daylight, in the dead of night.

1) Would you buy this product? Yes or No

2) How much extra would you be willing to pay, to add this feature to your current car?

3) What are some of the advantages you would enjoy with this product?

4) If this was an option on a brand new vehicle, how much do you think it should cost?

5) Should it be offered just for the windshield, or all of the windows?

6) How much extra would you be willing to pay to upgrade all the windows in a new car?

I need to move a 7'6 long dining-room table and chairs and want to find a Bay Area van rental company that rents vans at a decent rate. I'm looking for a cargo van (not a minivan), rather than a minivan or truck. Want to avoid mileage charges, and have something that will be comfortable to drive 1,500 miles+ in a weekend (E.g. Uhauls are out). Would welcome recommendations.

Any suggestions on which is the best double/crew cab pick up?

For hard use, not fancy looks - lot of dirt road/offroad use.

Selectable 4-wheel drive rather than permanent (unless you know better).

In our state the counties are responisible for salting the highways when they are slippery. On any given day I drive through three counties, yesterday for example there was glare ice in one county and they refused to salt the US highway. Cars were in the ditch every where like normal. I think they do it on purpose until the State Patrol officers call in and ride them.
