My question what is the RED dye used in making RED diesel #2? Also if you know that you possibly know the parts per million of RED in the final product<<<
I understand red diesel for AG or offroad use is simply #2 Diesel fuel with red dye in it. All Diesel #2 in the USA meets ASTM standards and red diesel #2 will not hurt any diesel vehicle its running in. Please dont lecture me about its illegal or has a higher content of sulphur etc. I dont care. Im just looking to what its made of...

I am considering lowering my car by about 1" to 2", front and back but I dont know exactly where the mechanic is going to put or attach the springs ( eg. Ebach sport spring ...) to. Do they still keep the original strut and shock in the same place. I saw pictures that some springs are telescopic around the strut and /or shock. Are these two the same thing??? how much work is there??? and how much will it cost for the 4 (?) springs approxmately???

I just got a '98 Dodge Avenger, and after some internet research saw that my model has a single overhead cam V6. I noticed though, that the 4 cylinder model comes with a dual overhead camshaft. I just want to know the difference between the two.

I've been told German cars have great performance and handling but terrible reliability and high cost maintenance...and, as for American, people usually laugh at me for even bringing it up.

How does such large exhaust help a car thats engine doesn't produce enough power to really utilize it? It seems like it ruins the look of any car. I don't see how a 127hp civic can benefit at all from being loud.

Please give answers applicable to English law/highway code. Thanks

My friend was on a narrow road and stopped so that car coming in opposite direction could pass. The driver of the car she let pass though didn't adjust their speed and just kept going which resulted in them scraping my friends stationary car. The driver did not stop but luckily a taxi driver witnessed event and knew who person was.

My friend has since found the other driver but they refuse to give their insurance details and are yet to even appologise.

I regularly see people on foot at motorway junctions holding a trade number plate or similar. Are they waiting for a particular person to pick them up, are they registered lift scroungers, or are they just a bit mad?

Mine was a Pontiac Lemans, 1989.
The wiper blew off, the trunk would not open, the door handles froze in the winter so you had to drive holding the door shut, it had a vacuum seal problem, it would not go in to park without a bunch of fiddling around with the key, and more that I cannot think of now.
I noticed you never see those cars around anymore.

I met this girl just now and she seemed kinda cool, the problem is I olny talked to her for about two seconds and then the light turned green. (yeah, we met waiting for a traffic light). Anyway, I wanted to see if I could use her licence plate number to find her information, other than by calling the police and accusing her of a hit and run or something, obviously.
