Hi there
I was thinking of buying a mazda 626 here in ireland. Its a super car inside and out so to speak but it is billowing smoke out of the exaust at start - up. The lady told me the head gasket was gone and i checked the price for this online and cant get any set figures....the car is worth €3000 its a 1999 and she will sell it for €800 euro.....i was hoping to pick it up as a run around vechile since my partner has the other car 24/7. But is it too risky to buy even if i spend say €500 fixing it.......pelase let me know thanks

I dont get why everybodys crazy over these import cars, The north american automotive manufacturers have caught up with the foreign companies in performance and quality control

Compacts:

Cobalt/G5 - powerful, well priced

Caliber - Roomy, inventive, fun

Focus - Roomy, Fast, lots of options

Midsize:

G6/Malibu - Low price, comforable, a generally great car

Fusion - Great interior, faster than it looks

Stratus - qiuck, redesigned for 08

Full size sedan:

Dodge Charger - IT'S BACK! seems to sum it up well
and the SRT-8 has a 425HP HEMI!, even the v-6 has balls

Chevrolet Impala/Pontiac Grand Prix - A bit old but still a good car, being replaced in 08 with a RWD Grand Prix/Impala

Ford Crown Victoria/Mercury Marquis - Driven by old people and cops, Dead in 09 replaced by the Ford 500

Sports Cars:

Camaro/GTO - back in 08/09

Monte Carlo - redesigned as RWD in 08, Dale Jr. drives one

Challenger - back in 08/09

Mustang - redesigned for 08 possible return of the 5.0L

A fat mouse crawled in the exhaust pipe of my Subaru Forester. We tried poking around in the pipe with a hanger to see if we could feel it, but it seems to have crawled deep inside. The car was on, so I am sure the mouse has now died of asfixiation. Now what? Will this hurt the car? Do we need to remove it or will it burn up and disappear? If it needs to come out what is the best way of getting it out?

Well i'm 16 and i really DO need a car. i do a lot of extracurricular activities for not only my school and i help out at a local hospital. when my sister turned 16 she did get a car, but when i turned 16 my dad said "it wasnt time.". I have had to miss things i've really needed to go to because of not having a ride. what are some good ways to convince my dad to get me a car? i dont really care what kind of car i get but i do need one asap so i dont have to depend on him because he cant take me anywhere.

i've tried to sit down and talk to him about it and he just went "maybe when you start college" and he KNOWS that i've missed things that i was expected to be at

it's supposed to get down to like 20 degrees tonight, i have it in first with the parking brake on, can the parking brake get stuck? im on probably about a 3 degree slope, will leaving it in first be enough? i heard it can get knocked into neutral

I read a lot of answer hear and other web sites. Some say leave it off except for highway diving. Other Say leave it on and some even say leave it off. What happens if you leave it off all the time? I have a Nissan Automatic with an overdrive switch.

Or does it mostly just improve the ground clearance? I was off roading recently and came upon a few obstacles where having a greater angle of approach would have helped me get over the obstacle. Wondering if a lift kit would improve this situation or not, and, if so, by how much?

I get my real licence on november 18 (36 days away) what if i drive alone and get pulled over? are cops pretty leanient with you if they see your getting your licence in month? or will they take your permit away from you untill your 18? ho does this work? i live in florida by the way.
