To be on the safe side, you should slow down when you
approach the gatso speed camera which can capture any
speeding car very clearly. Don't take chances, if you're not
sure which direction it is aiming at and by the time you know
it, it's too late for you then.
With the latest camera technology, they can do everything
possible.
Happy motoring!

all dependant on the speed when you pass a gatso meaures speed over a distance therefor if you are travelling in a 30mph area and doing 28 then as your 5 yds away ioncrease to 40 mph the gatso will not be able to record your speed.

The cameras with lilnes on the road (gatso) can only 'nick' you from behind, not as you approach. Sometimes they flash when you approach, but dont worry.

There are two (or maybe three) sorts now. The yellow box ones can only get you from behind but the new ones that look like spy cameras can measure the distance and time before you get there and snap a picture of thge culprit. You can't then claim someone else was driving .... believe me, the photo is good!!!!

while you're caught by utilising a police guy doing 50mph in 30 zone, they are able to deliver you to court docket and characteristic your licence bumped off (or greater factors). in case you went previous a speed digital camera at 100mph in a 30 zone it quite is in basic terms 3 factors, regardless. i think of they could desire to have the comparable regulations while you're caught by utilising a digital camera, as in case you have been stopped by utilising the police. yet, this is my occasion of speed digital camera insanity - and why they (or some drivers atleast) are extremely risky. i become utilising into London on Saturday final week, with my 2yr previous boy interior the automobile. i become in lane a million (of three) doing 70 on a twin carriage way (i.e. not even rushing), there become a 4x4 in lane 2 doing sixty 5, so quite than be naughty and undertake, i began out to bypass from lane a million to lane 3 to overhaul. in simple terms as I have been given in the back of this 4x4, we found a speed digital camera or maybe nevertheless no-one become rushing she slammed on the breaks, I narrowly neglected her by utilising INCHES. What we choose is education to make safer drivers, re-checks and checkups, not speed cameras.
