Bad news. Sugar is not combustable, it will mix with the gas and the car will not run right. After a little while when the engine heats up,all the sugar that accumilated in the cylinders will began to carmelize and will make the pistons seize in the cyliders. The car engine will be shot. That is the worst case senerio.
The sugar can plug the gas lines, causing the car not to get any gas while trying to start the car. In that case the car will not even start in the first place.
Anyway you will basically junk a car by putting sugar in the gas tank.

Nothing much. On the show Myth Buster on the Discovery Channel they tested it out. They put sugar in the tank of a car and it continued to run. The car also started up like normal the following day. So if your looking for a lil revenge that wouldn't be the way to go lol.

The worst it can do is to clog the fuel filter, but in most cases the vehicle will still run. You would have to poor in about 10 pounds of sugar to clog the filter. Most shops tap a filter after taking if off to see the sediment, so the suger would be detected and the tank drained, cleaned, new filter and away you go.

Depending on amount of sugar it may or may not ruin car engine and/or its fuel system. But chances are you will get caught and it will cost you more than the money for fixing his or her car. Got a better idea for you. Stick a bit of dog crap in exhaust pipe , it will make car stink and you probably wont get arrested for it... lol

It will get into the engine via the fuel system and can cause engine seizer. I know because I had a freind who had this happen and also heard of lots of other cases. Don't do it, an engine ain't cheap to replace!

Sugar will clog up the fuel injections and cause damage to the engine. It's very costly to fix. They have to remove the gas tank and lines. Clean out the injection system and flush out the fluid in the engine. They will be mad if they find out you did it, so I won't if I were you.
