I would really like to hire/rent an old shaped mini of any age in the UK, as a mini lover who is not allowed to buy one. I've seen lots of classic car hire companies but none seem to have an old mini in their fleet (By Old I mean anything up to a '99 model is ok). Most car hire companies focus on the new generation mini.

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. It's raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for a bus.

1.An old lady who looks as if she is about to die
2.An old friend who saved your life
3.The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

*Which one would you choose to offer a ride to?
Knowing very well, that there could be one passenger in your car?
(Trivia Question)

Under acceleration or braking in a car the laws of physics cause the weight to transfer accordingly to the rear or front of the car. What is te speed of making that transfer? I am sure it isn't the speed of light. Is it determined by the speed or weight of the car or by something else?

My old car broke down a few months ago and I have not had the money to fix it. Each time I have taken this car in, it costs me a lot because they have to replace all of the old parts. All signs point to me just getting a new car, but financially it would be extremely difficult since I am still in school.

There is also a small amount of fluid spraying out the tailpipe, and it loses ATF somewhere, even though there is never a puddle.

I am sorry if this offends anybody, but why do older people who drive those electric "go-karts" think they have a right to plough through crowds at 8mph! do they have to have a licence for them , do they need insurance? it is illegal to ride an electric scooter on the pavements, so why not these?

Red makes sense to me. What else is red? Fire, etc. If something is red with fire, you know not to touch it. I can see the association there, and yellow would speak of caution because it's not quite red... But why green? Why not blue and have all primary colors? (In some places/countries I've travelled to, the "green" light is more blue)

And seriously (not just my own musing suppositions), why did signs and then streetlights come to have the colors they have now?

Flying cars should not be that far away. We have the technology to make cars that hover by just usisng a series of magnets and electric currency. Why is there so much red tape to get the inventions out that would make the world a better place?? I would hate to think that governments would hold back science for the sake of the automobile & oil industry??? The same industry that has profited the most from our natural resources without thinking to secure the supplies for future generations...Oh say it ain't so!!!
