First issue,,the "stutter" at 40 mph,check "u" joints,especially if there is a squeak noticed.
Second issue,,"fluid from tailpipe",,if it runs well and the fluid is clear or clear/sooty,,it`s normal,,exaust systems collect condensation under normal conditions, there are very small "weep" holes in mufflers/resonators that also drip water,if its "oily" and blows heavy blue or white out the exaust, get it checked.
Third issue,,"atf loss",,just like engine oil,,transmission fluid can and will "break down" over time,if there is no puddeling and you need to add a pint or less per month/1000,,its ok,,if its more than that get it checked as some leaks do not present themselves unless your actually moving,in which case the fluid is dispersed along the roadway where you wont see it.

First I would check main seal and the universal joints in the drive shaft. If it is not one of those for the leak and stuttering, then it sounds like you have a serious transmission problem, and should pull the bell housing and possibly get new or rebuild the tranny...

examine for out of stability tires at the front. balancing = a isde to part shake contained in the guidance wheel . Alignment= a pulling to at least one part or the different . Have mechanic pt it up on a hoist and examine the ball joints and all .

You probably have mud inside your rims that has one of the tires out of balance. Sounds like you may have some other problems starting up also.

sounds like the drive shaft lost a balancing weight. you should go to a shop that specializes in drivelines and have rebalanced.
