Why don't we have flying cars??? The future section @ EPCOT had flying cars!The future is now, I want to FLY!

Question

Flying cars should not be that far away. We have the technology to make cars that hover by just usisng a series of magnets and electric currency. Why is there so much red tape to get the inventions out that would make the world a better place?? I would hate to think that governments would hold back science for the sake of the automobile & oil industry??? The same industry that has profited the most from our natural resources without thinking to secure the supplies for future generations...Oh say it ain't so!!!

I feal your pain i have always wanted to fly, but i think the tecnolagy is too advanced for our idiot scientists. Here is a friendly tip, Look up on the inter net what you just said and then maybe you could be the first inventor of the hover craft.

Flying cars would be hott!!! I wouldn't doubt though that the government is holding back the technology because of the automobile and oil industry. It's all about the money.

there is a flying car which has been almost developed and now is being made better. The first flying car is red and looks like the lilo and stitch spacecraft. It is also affordable and will be in the market in some years.

There have been quite a few flying cars..even the one in the James Bond movie was available....but the price killed them

Do some research; there ARE flying cars. But think about it.. how would we organize traffic and how would we all afford and two and half million dollar car? You can't, therfore, we are stuck on the ground.

its simple.. people cant handle forewardbackward left and right yet.. without an idiot proof naviagtion crash avoidance a fly car would be downright lethal

we have enough bad drivers on the road. we don't need them above ground too
