I am looking into trucking companies to work for. My list are the following: 1 Werner Enterprise 2. JB hunt 3. Falcon. I plan to work for the chosen company for ay least 6 months then resign. (To gain experience) However, I am skeptical about these companies or others after visiting this website

This site contains a lot of stories (Trucker being ripped off by the company they worked for)

Is trucking industry corrupted? Do you have any advise for me on what to look for in a company and what company do you prefer? ( I am a recent graduate)

I do not have the owners manual to my car and have just gotten a new job out of town. I've never really thought about how much gas it uses before because I don't travel much but now I would like to see if, with the price of gas so high it's worth it or not to be driving that far every day.

BTW: It's a 2000 Audi T4 Quatro

I have seen a bunch of cars with an sticker showing the word LEER, in spanish that means "to read", but I do not know the meaning in english. Could someone tell me why this sticker in cars and it's meaning ?

We are trucking company (with 53" trailer) based on Los Angeles, CA, USA and so far we have two companies that we have a contract(freight carrier), to haul some loads, and we think its not enough because sometimes they don't have any loads on that particular state.

Is there any problem signing up on as much as Companies (brokers / 3PLs) that we want so we can have more resources?

Is there any impact on our insurance since we are adding these companies as additoinal insured?
