where is the speed sensor located @on a 1997 dodge grand caravan?

on the output shaft ot the transmission between the firewall and the engine. ( the side pointing to the passenger side) you will see electrical connector going to a sensor in the trans. this is it. usually secured by one bolt.

In Australian vehicles they are in the speedo. Jules, Auto Tech/lecturer.
