It depends on what your state says in the Driver's Manual. In our state, if you are going to take the written test, any 21-year old who has had their license for at least a year has to be in the front passenger seat and accompany the driver for the test. You will need birth certificate and proof of residency (like a report card) for the written test (permit) and you will need proof of insurance (insurance card) for the driving test. Good luck!!

Yes. You're under 18 and so a minor. Your parent or guardian must give permission for you to get a license, unless you are an emancipated minor.

Yes, because you are under 18...one of your parents will have to sign financial responsibility form.. that is, if you haven't gotten your learner permit yet.
If you have it, they have already signed the form and they will not have to be present.

yes, because if you're going to get your license they will need to be in the car with you and they would have to show proof of car insurance on the car you will be driving for the test.
