How do you know that your truck is losing ATF out the tailpipe? This is a rather unusual problem.
Assuming that you have an older truck that uses a vacuum modulator on the transmission, replace the vacuum modulator. The diaphragm in it is ruptured.

IF it is possible that you have liquid atf dripping from your tail pipe you have a very serious problem!IF it's old enough to have a vacuum style modulator,#1 your truck could not shift gears,as there would be no vacuum.IF as rey rey says,it was leaking from an internal cooler in the radiator,it could only enter the exhaust throgh a blown head gasket or a crack in the cylinder wall.Since trans fluid is a lighter hydraulic oil than engine oil it burns much easier.you would be fogging the neighborhood with dense white smoke.Personally I think you have been partaking of some dense white smoke .

If you have an automatic transmission it s possible that your trans cooler inside the radiator is bad. If it is bad the only fix is changing the radiator or sending it to the shop for repair. Hope this help. Also the most common one and from personal experience is a ruptured diaphragm inside the trans vacuum modulator
