Volvo

Somebody is trying to persuade a friend that the clutch in her Volvo 440 is about to go because the pedal is higher than the brake or the gas pedal. I seem to remember having a Volvo myself, and the clutch on that was very high. Is this the design, or is something dreadful about to happen?

ok guys/girls this is a 2 part question.

first of all i need to know how to remove a used windshield from a junkyard 740 volvo WITHOUT cracking it so i may install it in my car.(perticulary the removal of the urathane adhesive)
and the second part is how do u replace the windshield

if anyone can "walk" me through this procedure so to speak plse any advice would help since replacement is near 500 bucks and if i can atleast get a used one out its only 50 for an auto glass shop to do the labor

I considered the official answer (43642476) and my answer of 44342676 before submitting my one shot. The clue on the box lid was left to right so I considered the sum of the boxes left to right giving an order of 43618275. If the clue on the lid were top to bottom, I would have submitted the other (43642476) answer.

I was searching on ebay and found someone selling a Volvo map for the HUNTand answers to the islands an stuff...but the thing is the guy has a picture of his map and it is the same as mine same code and everything. I have already submitted my answer and I was wondering if anyone else came up with these coordinates. Logic tells me that the volvo is buried on Disney's Island 'castaway cay' the 8 digit coordinate that pionts right to that island is 26057732. Plus it is just a stones throw from the 'somewhere' island. If you check you can find out for yourself. go to http://boulter.com/gps/ and enter the coordinates in this fashion 26 05.00 - 77 32.00 then make sure you hit the sattelite button for the image type, (it wont show up on map) and anyone who has been there will recognize that it is castaway cay. Also they just docked the davey jones ship there for publicity.

Now we all know that the winner (if in the US) will be someone from the midwest that doesn't need another #$@%$#! car or has enough money to buy 10 and doesn't need to get one for free. At least that's been my experience with everything (i.e. the lottery) out here on the East Coast!
