Now we all know that the winner (if in the US) will be someone from the midwest that doesn't need another #$@%$#! car or has enough money to buy 10 and doesn't need to get one for free. At least that's been my experience with everything (i.e. the lottery) out here on the East Coast!

For all those who don't know...Volvo has been holding "The Hunt" for a buried XC90. The contest started in June and today was the semi-final!

Here's my take on things. Volvo f**ked up bigtime! They should have been prepared for the onslaught of people trying to log onto the Port Royal website! Instead, countless people who worked really hard (including myself) to get this far were screwed over because only a certain number of people could open the page to work on the puzzle do to insufficiant network equipment (to handle the load of simultaneous requests to connect). I tried loading the final page just seconds before 2pm (according to official EST time) with a very fast internet connection and never got through until well after the eventual contest winners had probably already gotten a giant head start. I tried and tried (as did many other people) with nothing but frustration.

Sure, I had a slim chance of answering the puzzle fast enough to win, but I would have at least liked a FAIR chance to try to do so. Volvo should have prepared better so that the website could have been accessed by ALL players at 2pm. Instead, I wasted 20+ hours of my time playing along for nothing other than some fun and no chance in hell of ever trying to win the contest.

Bullshit Volvo... BULLSHIT!

I really enjoyed it htought it was great but the problem was every puzzle was different in Every country I.E the American one was different from us in the UK. so all the codes and all that would be wrong dipending on where they came from. But Good Luck and might see use in the Final *i wish*
