IF the compressor starts off after which stops and starts off returned after a couple of minutes, you have the stress sensor undesirable. plausible it ought to be low on freon inflicting low tension on the change to instruct the compressor on. It additionally ought to be the programing in the climate administration for A/C and heating. That 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of Volvo is unquestionably one of Volvo's digital nightmares!

first off if your system is already dry on freon,,then you don't have to worry about having it drained,,second of all anyone can put a clutch pack on a compressor,,if you have the right tools to do it with,,it is not a very hard job,,but you will want to make sure you block off all the open lines when you do this so dirt does not enter the system,,and then you will have to take it in to a shop,,and have it charged back up,with freon,,before your air will work right again,,it may be better to let a shop do it that has the proper tools,,because it wouldn't be very gain full on your part to buy the tools just for this one job,,i hope i have helped you,,i do it for a living.,,PS you can also buy a re-built compressor for this vehicle,,and it comes with a warranty,,may be worth checking in to.

ou can't do it yourself without seriously injuring yourself..

The compressor can only be removed by removing hoses from it which holds 100's of lbs of pressure. The A/C has to be evacuated by a professional and can only be done with a special machine

DONOT try this on you own
