is there more boot space in the volvo xc90 than there is in a bmw x5

yes the Volvo not only has more room it is also more usable than bmw [xs]

There is quite a bit of boot space and having driven both cars i would say that the Volvo is the better option. I am curious to know why boot space is your biggest priority though. if you are looking at 4 x 4's in that price range then surely you should e concentrating on performance, safety, extras and so on.

i would go for the volvo on all counts, the X5 is too much like driving a car. although the actual car is raised the seats seem to be at floor level and isn't at all comfortable to dive. the XC90 on the other hand is a pleasure. i had one for the weekend a couple of weeks back and fell in love with it. just a shame i can't afford to buy one.

i have a 2003 volvo xc90 t6 its great with the 3rd seats folded flat theres tons of room but with them up you get as much room as a minivan
