Mitsubishi

I know you can for a 2.0L motor, but the GS Spyder I am about to buy is a 2.4L one. So can I still eventually add a turbo to the 2.4L motor??

My brother is an auto mechanic and Eclipse expert, but he's in FL for the week and I want to buy this car or 99 GST in the next couple days. The only problem is that the GST one we already know the kid before used for racing and it has like 12,000 more miles on it.... so I'm debating if it's worth getting the GST now or get the better conditioned green GS and then add a turbo, but I don't know if that's possible or how much that would be... Any help would definitely be appreciated. And it might help to know that I'm looking at automatics. I know, lame, but I am a chic. Lol.

looks like 3 1/2 or 4 " coaxials might fit - any suggestions would be appreciated...

maybe an exhaust that isn't corrosive. also with warranty could be better. thank you.

Thanks.. i just need alot of opinions and things i should know before i go and spend money to get one.. i plan on getting a older model in the 90's prolly between 95 and 99.. i want to add things to it like body kit..neon..tint..exuast system...and some other stuff and i wanna know what you think of these cars either if you have one or know someone that does or just your personal opinion. thanksss. i heard that 2 years dont have Mitsubishi motors in them they have Chrsyler Motors.. thats kind weird i wanna watch out for that cause i like speed. haha and i will prolly get a GSX or w/e its called so i can have the turbo charged motor.. it would be cool if i could buy one with custom stuff already done to it but we'll see.

I have a 95 Galant S automatic.

Recently, it developed a violent shimmy when accelerating from 55-65 MPH, or when attempting to maintain speed over 55mph while going up a hill. Once I got over 65 on relatively flat land, it would drive smoothly again.

I brought it in to have someone look at it, they said it was a bad transmission mount and replaced it. It worked fine for a good 50 miles through the Appalachian mountains, then went back to what it was doing, though not as severe.

I realized that it happens at 55-57MPH because that is when it switches into the last gear. It usually only happens between 2500 and 3000 RPM, unless I am going up a hill. Then it does it all the way up to about 3500.

This is only when accelerating. When I am coasting during those speeds there is absolutely no vibration.

Any ideas? The repair shop was not of much help.

as standard , what will this car do 0-60 in and how fast will it go flat out ??? is it a reliable car ? can it accomodate a very loud music system = amp ,2x subs, 2x 6x9, + cd ????

Mitsubishi Eclipse?? I want one really bad, and I am going to get one but all of my friends (who are racers) say that they break down too easily. Is it because they like cars that they can dog, and an Eclipse isn't that kind of car?? I just want one to get me from point A to point B.

But when i am driving on the highway and get to speeds of around 70mph or higher it runs kinda hot, but when i exit and go to normal around the town driving, temp is back to normal. why is this happening? I am running 15psi of boost. I am going to be getting a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES shortly and I want to know if they were good cars like im hearing. Secondly does anyone know what all it would take to make the ES's SOHC into a DOHC, and without replacing the whole engine if possible? And finally I want to get simple rubber floor mats that have the mitsu logo on them, i think ive seen them before but I cant find them anywhere. Like the ones you would find at Walmart but they only have like Ford, Chev, and Dodge. If you could link me to one that would be great!
