would i replace the wastegate or the blow off valve? and could some please explain to me where the wastegate to a 99 GSX eclipse is?

for a begginer, make sure all of the intercooler pipes/hose's and clamps are tight enough..if you wanna get a B.O.V get those with adjustable type.. (adjustble bov got a small allen screw on top it)
then get a piggyback Ecu contoller to fine tune the fueling&ignition timing..
(stanby a metal type head gasket) for the next mods
p/s:stock wastegate is located at the tubine side of the turbo unit..
and external type wastegate is located at the exhaust header..

If you don't know where the waste gate is on a GSX, your probably shouldn't be driving one. They are a pain in the *** if you don't know what you are doing.

you have to reset the timeing.
