as standard , what will this car do 0-60 in and how fast will it go flat out ??? is it a reliable car ? can it accomodate a very loud music system = amp ,2x subs, 2x 6x9, + cd ????

Non-turbo isn't that great, nearly 8seconds to 60 and tops out around 140. It's got 230BHP but weighs as much as the moon!!!
Get a Scorpio Cosworth instead, it'll be cheaper to buy and run, just as fast, has 4 doors and handles so much better that on the track it would leave the GT for dust. Just a pity about the looks really!!

No, Mitsubishi 3000gt's aren't fast cars, but they aren't slow either. Take it from someone who has owned a 1995 3000gt SL for 3 years.
It depends on what you consider to be slow. Compared to high performance cars such as Evos, Wrx's, Srt4's of course it's slow. Compared to normal daily drivers and slightly modified low to mid class sports vehicles, Non-Turbo 3000gt's are *Not* slow.
Before getting my 3000gt SL, all my Civic owning friends would say negative things about it. "It's a boat. It's slow. It's too heavy. It's a big car." Well guess what. When I got the car I was the fastest one out of all of them. My friend slapped on a turbo on his civic, and I could still pull on him slowly. Of course It wasn't what I was aiming for. I bought my 3000gt because it just felt right. I love 3000gt's.
Let me put it to you this way. No offense, but you seem a bit unexperienced. The last thing you want to do is mix unexperienced driving skills with a really fast car.
A Non-Turbo 3000gt is a great first car. It's not fast, but it isn't slow either. I can't even believe to explain to you how FUN it is! It's a nice car to cruise in, go down to the beach to, blast music in, and just straight up Chill. It's a great first car, and trust me, it will grow on you. You'll get attached to it. Also, the girls love it. Great, fun, awesome car. Just my 2cents.

You can put a nice system in it but that will add to its slowness.
Niot very fast at all, for how it looks at least!
