my mom has a hyndai and so far, it is doing well, and i was wondering if i buy a 2000 hyndai accent how much it would be and is it a goodc choice?

My 2000 Accent will run fine for a week or so then it won't start. I can leave it for a while and it has always started back up after a couple of hours. My friend who is a mechanic said it is the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I have change the sparkplus the fuel filter and the fuel pump. Any Ideas? It turns over strong....It just won't start.

When I press the lock button on the driver side(no passenger switch) or the remote all that I hear is a click coming from the fuses I believe, but no locked doors. When I unlock I hear the same click but all the doors lock. How might I diagnose and fix this?

I took the car in to the dealer and they mentioned to me that the brakes were worn out to 3mm in the front and 2mm in the rear. They told me that they start out at 9mm. I don't hear any squealing yet, just feel a bit of a wobble. Is it necessary to change the brakes immediately or can I put it off for a month? I put less than 1000 miles on it each month. Too bad the car isn't paid off yet - it would be easy to go ahead and do the service!

Everytime I fill up my gas tank and go to start the car, it stalls immediately the 1st time. It's usually OK on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. This only happens when I get gas. It runs great all other times. What can be the problem???

I am thinking of purchasing this model in febuary or march of the coming year (I need a new car mine is 11 years old, and the price is right, and I work at the dealership) Now we haven't sold many of these, so we haven't had them in for service so I haven't heard much feed back on the car, if you have one or know someone who does, I would like to know what you think about how it drives, handels, how it does with gas, road noise, the radio, whatever you can tell me about it. I'm looking for a Santa Fe 2002, 2003, 2004, and found that the 4x4 option is ALL THE TIME All wheel drive without an option of turning it off. Are there any Santa Fe models where its optional. Where you can turn on 4x4 option and also use front wheel drive option on dry conditions? Frustrating.. i took the little screws out on each side of the rotor and it did'nt seem to be loose at all,..will it finally loosen up when i remove the caliper or does it just seem seized and what can i do after i remove the caliper to un seize it,...i just wanted to see if could do the job before removing everything and buying parts
