Check the spark plugs and change them. That'll perk your car right up. Be sure you check the gap in the plugs before putting them in, some come "pre gapped", others you have to set the gap yourself...so check before installation.
Also, check your fuel filter. I don't know where yours is located, but mine is under the seat (02 Elantra GLS)...call your dealer if you have questions.
