Elantra is a good, but not great car. Expensive car in some countries but working class wheels in another.
Some critics have panned it for being neither here not there, neither a small compact nor a full sedan. But that's Hyundai's game plan - they fill the little niches left behind by the big boys really well, and at a great price.
The CRDi Diesel Engine on the Elantra is superb.

I owned a Hyundai Elantra before and I would not hesitate to buy another. Mine was a 2000 and it was very peppy. I had minor problems with it, and found that replacement parts were comparably priced to other brand parts. It was also very easy to work on. Changing spark plugs and oil and other maintenance items were extremely easy for even a novice like myself. It was fuel efficient and reliable. It comes with a lot of standard features that makes it a great value. For a car of its size it has a very sizable trunk. The seats are firm and very supportive. At first I thought I wouldn't like them, however I found they were very comfortable on longer trips.
People who are quick to poo poo the Elantra may have had a bad experience and that's a shame. I found that I had a good experience with the Elantra and would recommend it to others.

I had a 2005 Elantra and hated it! Thats me personal. I traded it in for a 2006 Tiburon. the Elantra had no style to it, no pick up and did not handle the road very well. It did have plenty of room and a nice interior however.

nicely, in case you have any doubts, evaluate reading with regard to the unbelievable success that Hyundai is having. they only build 7 kind subsequently they are able to not have super success if a kind of fashions weren't reliable. If that's not adequate concepts for you, then bypass bypass to between the Hyundai dealership's provider branch and see that they are strangely, and fantastically not very busy. i could anticipate that development sturdy automobiles may be the only way that they could grant a one hundred,000 mile guarantee. i in my opinion rigidity a Mercedes-Benz although, i'm going to provide help to recognize that i admire all of the recent Hyundai fashions that have been released this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and additionally, how eye-catching Hyundai has become so overwhelmingly efficient. that's a remark you are able to remember on! stable luck!

its absolutely awesome. I had one and had no problems. when something minor did occur the warrenty fully kicked in and the service was great. These cars are fuel efficient and sporty. Once you buy one you'll fall in love with the entire brand!! I ended up giving my elantra to my little nephew and purchased a new Sonata!
