i test drove both, and i like the azera, it is very comfortable and luxurious- and acceleration rivals a BMW. i need a new car within the next month, and not more than $35K. Any opinions on which i should buy?

Azera has had very good reviews in Canada and the US. It is built in the US. Hyundai is becoming a good car company (not Kia) and the warranty and price are nice.

The Azera is constantly described as "buick-like" in its soft handling and nice ride quality, and Hyundai's resale values are still low, so you will lose some money if you sell it in a few years. If you're looking for a roomy, quiet comfortable highway cruiser and you plan to keep the car for a long time (5yrs+) I'd say the Azera is a good choice. If you like sharper-handling cars and care about the resale value, give up some roominess and pick an Acura.

My dad is trying to decide between buying a Acura TSX or TL. I think the TSX looks a lot better than the TL, it's more sporty, at least from a 16 year old point of view. But I know the TSX is cheaper than the TL. Well, I like them both. I wouldn't go with the Azera, because I heard their resell vaule is very low. Good Luck!

Hyundai sure has come a long way if you mention it in the same question as Acura and BMW. Fit and finish is better than its rival car the Buick Lucern... But the compairison with BMW and ACURA bothers me. You will be financing this car why not get what you really want! Have you driven the 2007 3.5 liter Maxima with the CVT transmission?

you should buy it! my dad had a hyundai xg and we drove that car into the dirt! lol and it ran very good..if the xg was good the azera would be even better! plus the azera is the fastest korean car ever made...268 horsepower..thats more horses than my dads 300 touring edition! oh also its a good traveling car as well.
