he has a 2002 tiburon with 50,000 miles he paid $14,000. but the guy before him raced with it. he has replaced the clutch.

Your cousin should have done his homework. I wouldn't pay 14 grand for a BMW with 50K miles on it..that's just nuts!
Yes, he could have bought much better for his money, unless the car he now owns is highly modified. Given that he's already replaced the clutch, the previous owner probably didn't take good care of it. Another reason I only buy new. Sorry to hear that about your cuz!!

Yes, even an 03 wouldn't cost that much with a good clutch. 03 is when the new model came out. 02 and below were garbage.

Yes he did. It's a hyundai that was raced. It probably has other problems on the way because of the racing. Check kbb.com

Yes your cousin got ripped there for sure. Even if there are upgrades for racing it it still would be worth around 10K

I would have to say yes he did.. You never know what car that people race what all it has been through.. I would of never bough that car..
